Privacy Policy

1. Privacy at a Glance

Protecting your personal data is important to us. This privacy policy informs you about which data we collect on this website, how we use it and what rights you have. We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act (TDDDG).

2. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Geneflor Daquio Plagge · GENEFLOR Couture
C/O Parkallee 21 · 22926 Ahrensburg · Germany
Email: info@dienachtderkolibris.com · Phone: +49 176 63246964

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS processes data generated when you visit the website (in particular server log files) on our behalf. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of our website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.

4. Server Log Files

When you access the website, information is automatically collected that your browser transmits: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address. This data is used for technical provision, security and stability (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and is deleted after a short time.

5. Cookies & Consent Management

Our website uses cookies and comparable technologies. Strictly necessary cookies – such as the „pll_language“ cookie that stores your language choice and the cookie of our consent tool – are required to operate the website; the legal basis is § 25 (2) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. No consent is required for these.

Services requiring consent – in particular embedded YouTube videos – are only loaded after you have given your consent via our cookie banner (consent tool „Real Cookie Banner“), in accordance with § 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future via the „Cookie settings“ link in the footer.

6. Contact Form

If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, email address, phone number, type of enquiry and your message) to handle your request. The form is processed locally on our server using Elementor Pro. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation/performance of a contractual relationship) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (lit. f). The data remains with us until the purpose of processing no longer applies and is then deleted, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Contact by Email or Phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the transmitted data to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer required for the purpose.

8. Embedded YouTube Videos

On the „Hamburg 2019“ page we embed videos from the YouTube platform (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The videos are embedded in extended privacy mode and – via our consent tool – only loaded after your explicit consent. Only then does your browser connect to Google’s servers; data (including your IP address) may be transferred to Google and forwarded to the USA. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). More information: Google Privacy Policy.

9. Fonts (Locally Hosted)

This website uses web fonts for a consistent display of typefaces. These are hosted locally on our server – when you access the pages, no connection is made to servers of Google or third parties and no data is transferred there.

10. Software Used

The website is based on WordPress with Elementor (page design), Rank Math (search engine optimisation) and Polylang (multilingualism). These components run on our server and do not transmit personal data to third parties under normal operation.

11. SSL/TLS Encryption

For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the „https://“ and the lock symbol in your browser’s address bar.

12. Storage Period

Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this policy, your data remains with us until the purpose of processing no longer applies. Where statutory retention periods exist, deletion takes place after they expire.

13. Your Rights

You have the following rights at any time: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. An informal message to info@dienachtderkolibris.com is sufficient to exercise these rights.

14. Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Independent State Centre for Data Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ULD), Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany.

15. Currency and Changes

This privacy policy is dated June 2026. As our website develops or legal requirements change, it may be necessary to amend this policy.
